Rishi Sunak along with his wife visited Swaminarayan temple in London

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murthy worshiped at the BAPS Swaminarayan temple in London in the last week of their election campaign. This temple is also known as Neasden Temple. When the caravan of Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murthy reached the grand temple premises, all the saints and workers present there gave them a warm welcome. After this, worship was performed under the guidance of both the worshippers. They also sought blessings from God for victory.

Rishi Sunak himself is very proud of being a Hindu. He is of Indian origin and follows all Indian traditions. He celebrates festivals like Holi, Diwali, Janmashtami with great pomp and often visits temples to worship. Sunak spoke to volunteers and community leaders after visiting the temple. Cricket fan Sunak started his address by mentioning India's victory in the T20 World Cup. He said, “I am a Hindu like all of you and my religion inspires me.”

PM Rishi Sunan said a big thing

Rishi Sunak said, “I am proud to take oath as a Member of Parliament with my hand on the 'Bhagavad Gita'. Our religion teaches that we should do our duty and not worry about the result if we do it honestly.” This is what I want to teach my daughters. Religion guides me in my approach to public service.
