Ranchi, June 29 (HS). Union Minister of State for Defence and Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth expressed concern over the increasing criminal incidents and said that if police officers are not safe in the capital, what will be the condition of common people. Criminals have become unbridled in the capital Ranchi. The criminals have lost their fear of the administration. He said that some unknown criminals looted jewellery worth about 1.5 crore rupees from a jeweler's shop in Birsa Chowk and shot and injured the jeweler's shop owner Ramnath Verma and his son Om Verma.
When Seth reached Ranchi from Delhi on Saturday, he went to his residence in Saket Nagar Hinoo and met his family members and got complete information about the incident. He also went to Paras Hospital and met the injured and enquired about their condition. The Union Minister of State for Defence said that criminals have got a free hand in this government.
Several robbery incidents have been carried out in the last one month. Today, fear prevails in the capital, whether it is the businessman or the common man. The police is sitting idle. The entire system has collapsed. Murders are taking place every day. Robbery incidents are being carried out every day. The government has lost control over the administration, the brunt of which is being borne by the common people.
