Senior Andhra Pradesh Pradesh Congress Committee leader and former minister Dharmapuri Srinivas has passed away. According to his family, he was ill for some time and died of a heart attack at 3 am on Saturday. He said goodbye to this world at the age of 76.
Srinivas has served as a minister, Member of Parliament and State Congress President in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. He has two sons, the second son Dharmapuri Arvind is currently the MP from Nizamabad. His elder son Sanjay has previously been the Mayor of Nizamabad.
Telangana Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has expressed grief over the demise of Srinivas. On this occasion, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar recalled his services as a minister and state Congress president. He recalled his long association with the party. He expressed condolences to the family and prayed to God to give more courage to the family in this difficult time.
Telangana's Minister for Panchayati Raj and Rural Development (including Rural Water Supply), Women and Child Welfare, Dansari Anasuya Setha expressed deep grief over the death of Srinivas. She prayed to God to grant peace to his soul.
