UGC NET exam new dates. Amidst the paper leak controversy, NTA has announced new dates for the UGC NET exam. This time the exam will be conducted online between 21 August and 4 September. Let us tell you that the UGC NET exam to be held on the 18th of this month was canceled by the Ministry of Education after getting indications of paper leak.
The NTA released the notification of exam dates late Friday evening. In which the dates of three examinations have been announced. It has announced the dates of NCET 2024, Joint CSIR-UGC NET and UGC NET June 2024 cycle*. All these exams will be conducted online.
– NCET 2024 exam will be held on July 10, 2024.
– The Joint CSIR-UGC NET will be held between July 25 to July 27.
– The UGC NET June 2024 cycle will be held between August 21 to September 4.
UGC canceled NET exam after receiving complaint
The University Grants Commission (UGC) received some inputs on the exam from the National Cyber Crime Threat Analysis Unit (NCTAU) of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Malpractice was reported in the offline exam held on June 18. Then it was decided to cancel the exam and conduct it again. The CBI is investigating the irregularities in the exam.
