Mumbai: Businessman Ratan Tata's post went viral on social media when he made an emotional appeal to donate blood from another dog to get a dog admitted to his animal hospital suffering from a serious disease. After this appeal, five people brought their dogs to donate blood.

A seven-month-old puppy needs blood at the animal hospital run by Ratan Tata. Tata also said in the post that the puppies have developed fever and anemia which can be fatal. . The post said that the dog donating blood should be between 1 to 8 years of age and should be in good health, weigh at least 25 kg, be fully vaccinated and free from any disease.

Later five people brought their dogs for blood donation.
