Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has got a big relief from the High Court. Hemant Soren, who was arrested in the alleged land scam, has been granted bail by the High Court today. After which Soren, who has been in jail for five months, will now be released. The Jharkhand High Court has given its verdict on Hemant Soren's bail plea.
Let us tell you that during the hearing held on June 13, the decision was reserved after the arguments of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the defense were completed. Soren has been in jail for the last several months. He will soon come out of jail after getting bail. He will come out of jail by this evening or tomorrow.
The ED arrested Hemant Soren on January 31 this year in the alleged land scam. The ED opposed Hemant Soren's bail plea. The ED said that bail could affect the investigation. However, the court did not listen to the ED and granted bail. Earlier, Soren's bail plea was rejected by the lower court.
