Ranchi, June 27 (HS). BJP State President Babulal Marandi on Thursday addressed the plantation cum booth worker felicitation program organized by the BJP in the name of Ek Vriksha Maa in Navagarh Panchayat under Sikidiri Mandal of Khijri Assembly constituency.
Marandi said that nature is our mother who protects all the inhabitants of the earth. Trees and plants are the beauty of nature. He said that we should ensure the safety of nature by planting trees, only then nature will protect our lives. He said that since its inception, BJP has been going among the people not only with political but also with constructive programs. BJP is committed to the protection of both nature and culture.
Marandi said that this year the Prime Minister has called for a campaign to plant a tree in the name of mother from 23rd June, the day of martyrdom of our party's inspiration Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, to his birth anniversary on 6th July. Party workers from booth level to national level are engaged in making this campaign a success. He said that by planting a tree in the name of mother, we have to take the responsibility of taking care of it, we have to protect it as well. He called upon the public and workers to participate enthusiastically in this campaign.
