Ranchi, June 26 (HS). A 28-year-old pending case was successfully resolved on Wednesday at the mediation center in Dalsa of the Civil Court. The case was related to accident compensation. With the efforts of advocate cum mediator Manisha Rani and advocate Ramnarayan Sahu, a settlement was reached between the first party Kanhai Sahu and the second party Pramila Devi, Shishupal Sharma and Durga Kumari in the 28-year-old case. Kanhai Sahu gave the compensation amount of one lakh on the spot to Pramila Devi and her family.

In 1996, Pramila Devi's husband died in a collision between a truck and a car. At that time, her children were very young. Pramila Devi filed a compensation case in MACT Lohardaga (Lohardaga Court). In this, the court ordered to give compensation to Kanhai Sahu in the year 2005.
Kanhai Sahu had filed a petition in the High Court challenging the order. During the hearing, the High Court upheld the order of the lower court. After this, it was again challenged in the Supreme Court. After several meetings between the two parties in mediation, a settlement was reached between the two parties with the help of the mediator and Kanhai Sahu provided money to Pramila Devi and her children. After this, both the parties do not want to fight any case in the future.
