Plot certificates handed over to the beneficiaries of Antyodaya families of scheduled caste, widow and nomadic caste

Sirsa, June 26 (HS). Under the Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme, on Wednesday, in a grand ceremony organized in the multipurpose hall of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, certificates of 30-30 square yard plots were distributed to the beneficiaries of the district's Scheduled Castes, widow women and poor families belonging to nomadic castes.

Haryana Health Minister Dr Kamal Gupta attended the function as the chief guest. On this occasion, the state level program organized in Rohtak under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini was broadcast live through virtual medium. These certificates have been given to 853 beneficiaries of Sirsa district and 195 beneficiaries of Fatehabad district. Addressing, Health Minister Dr Kamal Gupta said that the Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme is an important step towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of developed India. The Central and State Government are providing every possible help to poor families while working in the spirit of Antyodaya. The government is taking important steps towards free health facilities to all, development work without discrimination, direct benefit of the scheme to every eligible person, drinking water, electricity etc.

He said that the Haryana Housing for All Department has implemented the Mukhyamantri Shahri Awas Yojana for the people of Antyodaya families living in urban areas. Under this scheme, Antyodaya families with an annual income of less than Rs 1.8 lakh are being given plots of 30-30 square yards in urban areas. With this, the dream of every poor person to have his own house is now coming true. He said that today the government is allocating 15 thousand 200 plots in 14 cities of the state. Recently, the Haryana government has distributed Happy Cards to poor families so that they can get the benefit of free travel up to one thousand kilometers.
