Jaipur, June 26 (HS). On the occasion of International Anti-Drug Day, various activities were organized in the district on Wednesday to make the general public aware of the damages caused by drug addiction.
Under the aegis of the District Mental Health Program, posters were put up in Jaipuria Hospital for prohibition of drug abuse, and pamphlets were distributed for public awareness. On this occasion, Dr. Harish Bhardwaj from the hospital provided support. Also, in the de-addiction ward of SMS, the employees and family members were made to take an oath not to take drugs.
In the drug de-addiction institute in Acharol, patients were told about the harm caused by drug addiction. Also, on the International Drug Prohibition Day, an awareness rally was taken out to make the general public and society aware. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Nodal Officer NMHP, Dr. Gajanand Verma, Senior Psychiatrist, CRA, Manish and Shriram Yadav participated in the rally.
