Tata Group will invest 650 crores in Ayodhya, will build a grand museum of temples

Tata Group is going to build a museum of temples in Ayodhya city of Uttar Pradesh. This museum will be built at a cost of 650 crores. Their proposal was approved by the cabinet of Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday.

The state government will provide the land for Rs.

Uttar Pradesh Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh said that the land for the temple museum will be leased to the Tata Group for 90 years at a token amount of Rs 1. The museum will be state-of-the-art and built as per international standards. The museum will display information about the architecture and history of famous temples of India.

Tata's investment will be through CSR

Tata Group is going to build this museum on its own. Tata Group will invest Rs 650 crore to build this museum of temples. This investment will be made under CSR i.e. Corporate Social Responsibility. The state government said that Tata Group had sent a proposal to build this museum in Ayodhya through the central government.

The Prime Minister liked the proposal

The proposal for this museum came for the first time last year. After which senior officials including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were told about this project in detail. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also informed about this project in advance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi liked this proposal of temple museum very much.

100 crore investment on other development works

Light and sound shows will also be arranged in the proposed museum. Apart from this, the state government has also approved Tata Group for other development works in Ayodhya city. Tata Group will invest an additional Rs. 100 crore on other development works in the city. It is worth noting that for some time now, Ayodhya city of Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a major center of religious tourism. After the inauguration of Ram temple earlier this year, the number of tourists in the city has increased.
