Karan Johar: Karan Johar has been working as a filmmaker and producer for 25 years. In 2015, this filmmaker also worked in a film named Bombay Velvet. He also does a cameo in a film produced by himself. But Karan has not worked in any film after Bombay Velvet. Recently the filmmaker talked about his passion for acting. Karan said that he wants to play the role of Ananya Pandey's father in a film.

Talking to Suchitra Tyagi, Karan said, 'I tell you from the bottom of my heart that I have not received a single offer for acting till date. I thought that after doing the film, I will get many offers and I will have to reject them. But nothing like that happened.'
The filmmaker further said, 'I was very happy after Bombay Velvet but no director offered me a full-length role. I am not interested in playing the lead role, you can let me play Ananya Pandey's father.'
The frustrated actor inside me wants to come out
Karan said, “I don't want to produce this film myself because it loses credibility. I am not joking but I feel like a frustrated actor inside me wants to come out. I feel like this happens not today but every day. So tomorrow someone offers me a role in a film, I am ready to give my time for the film.
Currently, Karan Johar's film 'Kill' is in a lot of discussions. It premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last year. Kill is an action thriller film which will be released on July 5 this year. Lakshya Lalwani will debut with this film. Raghav Juyal will be seen in the role of a villain in this film.
