ICC announces match officials for T20 World Cup 2024 semi-finals

Tarouba, June 26 (HS). The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday night announced the match officials for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 semi-finals.

Chris Gaffney and Rodney Tucker will officiate in the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 between India and defending champions England in Guyana on June 27. Joel Wilson will be the TV umpire, while Paul Reiffel will be present as the fourth umpire in Guyana on June 27.

In the first semi-final to be played between Afghanistan and South Africa, Richard Illingworth and Nitin Menon will be the on-field umpires, Richard Kettleborough will be the TV umpire, while Ahsan Raza will be the fourth umpire.

Afghanistan entered the semi-finals with a historic eight-run win over Bangladesh via DLS, with Afghanistan's victory Australia was knocked out of the Super 8. In the first semi-final, Afghanistan will play South Africa in Trinidad on Wednesday 26 June (local time). South Africa finished the Super Eight stage on top of Group 2.
