basmati rice
Carrot peas

How to make Veg Pulao

  • To make Pulao, first wash the rice and soak it for at least 10 minutes.
  • – Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and let it fry.
  • Add onions and sauté until golden, then add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few seconds.
  • – Then add tomatoes, turmeric and salt to it and cook till the tomatoes become soft.
  • Add mixed vegetables and fry for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add rice and stir for a while.
  • Add water, mix, cover and cook on medium flame till the rice is cooked.
  • – Now add garam masala and mix it and serve it hot.
