A bomb threat was made on the Air India flight from Kochi to London. The plane was immediately searched but nothing was found. According to information, this threat was made to an officer over the phone. The suspect was arrested from the airport shortly after. The name of the 29-year-old suspect is Suhaib.
According to a statement issued by Kochi Airport, Air India's call center received a bomb threat in AI 149. This plane was about to fly to London. After this, the airport administration was immediately alerted and a search was started. Investigation was started by airline security staff, airport security group and inline baggage screening system.
According to the information, check-in for this flight had been done and it was scheduled to take off at 11.50 am. During investigation, the caller was identified. He is a resident of Malappuram district and had reached the airport with his wife and child. He was arrested during check-in and handed over to the police. Now the police is interrogating him.

He said that this mail was sent as a joke. The child who sent the mail was just 13 years old. The child had created a new email ID and after sending the mail, he had also deleted it.
