Hisar, June 25 (HS). Youth District President of Aam Aadmi Party Virendra Narwal has expressed concern over the poor law and order situation in the district. Referring to incidents like firing at Mahindra showroom in Hisar and demanding ransom, he said that criminals have no fear of the police.
Virendra Narwal and other party leaders met the owner and INLD leader Rambhagat Gupta at Mahindra showroom on Tuesday and talked about this incident. He said that the law and order situation in the district is very bad. Incidents like theft and snatching are happening every day for the last few days but the police have not been able to catch the accused of any incident. He said that the criminals firing at Mahindra showroom in broad daylight and throwing a note for ransom and then escaping easily proves that neither the criminals have any fear of the police nor the police is alert.
Virendra Narwal said that in reality the BJP government of the Centre and the state is completely responsible for this. The government has engaged the police and other security agencies to fulfill its political interests and action is being taken against the opponents, while the poor law and order situation has created an atmosphere of fear among the public and traders. He demanded from the state government and police administration that the accused of other criminal incidents along with those who fired at the Mahindra showroom and demanded ransom should be arrested immediately so that the citizens can breathe a sigh of relief. During this time, party leaders Subhash Kundu and Sanjay Bura were also with him.
