Kaithal, June 25 (HS). A general meeting of the Zila Parishad House was called in the hall of Kaithal Zila Parishad Bhawan on Tuesday. But this meeting was cancelled at the last moment. When the general meeting of the House was cancelled, there was a lot of political drama in the Zila Parishad premises for about two hours. This meeting was cancelled due to ADC cum CEO C Jaya Shraddha going on leave.
After the cancellation of the meeting, a round of allegations and counter allegations started from the chairman and the vice-chairman, which continued till around 12:30 in the afternoon. It is noteworthy that at present in Kaithal's Zila Parishad, JJP supported councilor Deepak Malik from ward number two is the chairman and councilor from ward number 13, Karambir Kaul, the BJP supported vice-chairman. The chairman called the cancellation of this meeting a conspiracy of the BJP. Whereas, the vice-chairman said that he was not aware of the reason for the cancellation of the meeting. During this time all the 21 councilors had reached for the meeting, but no officer arrived. Due to this the meeting could not be held.

The Chairman said that the meeting cannot be postponed without the permission of the Chairman. This right is of the Chairman and not of any officer. It is someone's conspiracy to cancel the meeting, who is stopping the pace of development work in the village. He will meet the Chief Minister and demand an inquiry to take action against such people.
On the other hand, Zila Parishad Vice President Karambir Kaul said that he had reached the meeting with 13 councilors. He got the information that the meeting was cancelled. Is this a conspiracy of the officers or some other reason? He will meet the DC to demand an inquiry into this. Kaul said that development work in the villages has stopped. Due to this there is anger among councilors and villagers.
