Good news for devotees visiting Mata Vaishno Devi, now this facility will be available for free

There is good news for the devotees going to visit Mata Vaishno Devi. Actually, the Shrine Board has opened a free mundan shop in Banganga for the pilgrims to perform the important ritual of mundan of their children in a convenient and respectful manner.

The shop is located at Ishan Ghat No. 3 near Geeta Mandir in Banganga, where free shaving service will be provided to the devotees. The shaving shop was inaugurated by Anshul Garg, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and other officers and staff of the Shrine Board in the presence of prominent citizens of the area.

After the inauguration, the CEO said that in response to numerous requests from devotees and realising the importance of the ritual, this free service has been started as per the directions of the Shrine Board chairman. The shop will be open daily from 7am to sunset and will be staffed by experienced barbers from the Shrine Board, who are experts in performing tonsure as per traditional customs.
