Indian stock markets rise, Sensex crosses 77,500 with a gain of 166 points

The Indian stock market started with gains today. The domestic stock market opened on the green mark on the second trading day of the week due to positive signals from global cues. The BSE Sensex rose 166 points or 0.21% to 77,507 and the NSE Nifty rose 39 points or 0.17% to 23,577.
