Bhopal, June 25 (HS). Madhya Pradesh is the true representative of the country's musical heritage and with the aim of making the young generation aware of this fact and making them aware of their culture, the Madhya Pradesh Government, Culture Department and Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi are organizing a program 'Pranaati' dedicated to singing, playing and dancing in Bhopal starting today i.e. Tuesday. On the first day, there will be Sarod recital by renowned Sarod player Mr. Aman-Ayan Ali Bangash, Delhi. After this, there will be classical singing by Vinayak Torvi, Karnataka. The next presentation will be of Sitar recital by world-renowned Sitar player Neeladri Kumar, Mumbai. The last presentation of the first day is going to be Kathak dance by Ms. Prerna Shrimali, Jaipur.
In this regard, Director, Directorate of Culture, N.P. Namdev says that renowned art gurus of the country are going to present their long art practice in the event. Also, this will be the first occasion when many Padma award winning artists will perform on one stage. This is the effort of the Culture Department that the learned people of Bhopal can get acquainted with the long practice of art gurus and a new tune can be added to the melodious cultural environment of the state. This will be a special event for Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh, when it will be an unforgettable experience to see the performance of the famous artists of the country on one stage.
This is the program for other days
On 26th June, there will be classical singing by renowned folk singer Padma Shri Malini Awasthi, Lucknow. After this, there will be a Mohan Veena/Satwik Veena recital by renowned artist Padma Bhushan Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Salil Bhatt. Finally, there will be Odissi dance by Ms Shubhada Varadkar, Mumbai.
On 27th June, the first performance will be of classical singing by Ms. Sudha Raghunathan of Bengaluru. After this, there will be a flute recital by Rupak Kulkarni of Mumbai. The last performance will be of Mohiniyattam by Ms. Deepti Omchari Bhalla of Delhi.
On 28 June, first there will be classical singing by Pallakad Ramprasad, Karnataka, followed by violin duet by N. Rajam and Ms. Ragini Shankar, Mumbai. Lastly, there will be Kuchipudi dance by Ms. Anusha J.V., Hyderabad.
On the last day of Pranati on 29th June, the evening will begin with classical singing by Ms. Manjari Asnare Kelkar, Nashik. This will be followed by tabla playing by Yogesh Samsi, Mumbai and finally Bharatnatyam dance by Ms. Revathi Ramachandran, Chennai. It is worth mentioning that entry is free every day.
