BJP pays tribute to the Satyagrahis of Emergency

New Delhi, June 25 (HS). The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today paid tribute to the Satyagrahis on the anniversary of the Emergency, which is recorded as a black chapter in the democratic history of independent India.

BJP has written on its x handle remembering all of them, “Respectful salute to all the Satyagrahis who opposed the darkest chapter of Indian democracy and politics, the Emergency (25 June 1975) and kept the faith in democratic values.”
