Complete the work of filling posts in Health and Medical Education Department within the time limit: Shukla

Bhopal, June 24 (HS). Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla on Monday reviewed the recruitment process in the Health and Medical Education Department at the Ministry Vallabh Bhawan. On this occasion, he directed to make arrangements to ensure proper use of the available medical and assistant medical manpower. The Deputy Chief Minister reviewed the filling of the posts of teaching staff in government medical colleges, Super Specialty Hospital, School of Excellence for Eye Indore, School of Excellence in Pulmonary Medicine Jabalpur and Government Nursing College. Along with this, he reviewed the action plan for filling the newly sanctioned posts of medical and assistant medical posts in IPHS and directed to complete the work of filling the posts within the time limit.

Departmental indifference and negligence should not delay the appointment process

Deputy Chief Minister Shukla reviewed the advertised and unadvertised posts college-wise and post-wise. He expressed displeasure over the delay in departmental correspondence and completion of formalities. He said that for filling the posts, formalities should be completed on priority by keeping in regular contact with the concerned selection institutions. There should not be any delay in the appointment process due to departmental indifference and negligence. Take action accordingly to fill the posts to be filled through direct recruitment and promotion.

Additional Chief Secretary Public Health and Medical Education Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Public Health and Medical Education Vivek Kumar Porwal, Commissioner Public Health and Medical Education Tarun Pithode, Secretary Medical Education Surabhi Gupta, Director Public Health Dinesh Srivastava and senior officials of Health and Medical Education Department were present in the meeting.
