Mumbai, June 24, (HS). Samajwadi Party, encouraged by the 2024 Lok Sabha election results, will now stake its claim in the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra. For this, SP is making every possible effort to encourage its workers. In this sequence, a worker conference program was organized at a hotel located at the Range Office of Vasai East in Palghar district, which was led by Palghar District President of Samajwadi Party Kailashnath Yadav. During this, MLA Abu Asim Azmi, who was present as the chief guest, said that Samajwadi Party is now the third largest party in the country. Now the work of increasing and spreading the support base of the party in the entire Maharashtra has to be done. He further said that the alliance party has performed better this time. Our effort is that our alliance should not break, but I am saddened that the leaders of the alliance do not take the name of our party. This time in the assembly elections, our party will contest 30 to 35 seats on its own. If the alliance comes together, they are also welcome.

While addressing the workers, Abu Azmi further said that in the upcoming elections, the Samajwadi Party will stake its claim in the assembly elections as well as in the corporation elections of Vasai Virar along with other districts of Maharashtra and will bring capable candidates to the assembly by giving them tickets. During this, more than 50 workers who joined SP from Shiv Sena (Shinde group) were inducted into the party by handing them the SP flag. On this occasion, the Birha singer who arrived to entertain and encourage the workers received a lot of applause by presenting Birha songs related to the Samajwadi Party. The stage was conducted by Ajit Yadav.
