Follow these steps to update Aadhaar at home

If you also have a 10-year-old Aadhaar card and it has not been updated even once during this period, then this news is very important for you. To update Aadhaar, you can also update your Aadhaar through mobile sitting at home.

For Aadhaar update, you will need two important documents. First identity card and second address proof. Usually, a fee of Rs 50 is charged at the Aadhaar center for Aadhaar update, but according to UIDAI, you can provide PAN card as proof of identity and election card for address.

Update this way sitting at home

Go to UIDAI website from mobile or laptop. After this click on Update Aadhaar option. – Now login through OTP by entering Aadhaar number. After this click on Document Update and Verify. – Now upload the scanned copy of identity card and address proof from the drop list given below. All these documents can be submitted in JPEG, PNG and PDF format. Now click on Submit. After this you will get a request number and the form will be submitted. You can also check the update status from the request number. After a few days your Aadhaar will be updated. You can update this process for free till 14 September 2024.
