Dhanbad, June 23 (HS). A special team of the Mining Department and Dhanbad Police conducted a raid late Saturday night and seized three sand laden trucks and two cars escorting the trucks in the Gobindpur police station area. Three people have also been arrested in this case.
In this regard, DSP Headquarters 01 Shankar Kamati told in a press conference at Gobindpur police station on Sunday that three trucks loaded with sand were caught near Barwa Daldali Road Heritage School in Gobindpur. Along with this, two cars escorting these trucks loaded with sand were also caught.
He said that Kamrujama, who was escorting these trucks in a car, has been arrested. Also, two truck drivers Abdul Ansari and Samim Ansari have also been nabbed. One truck driver has fled from the spot. Preparations are being made to register a case against all of them and send them to jail. DSP Shankar Kamati said that illegal sand business will not be allowed to continue. Now those escorting the business and vehicles will also be identified and arrested.
