Patna, June 23 (HS). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the Bapu Tower under construction in Gardani Bagh on Sunday. He visited the ground and fifth floor of Bapu Tower and reviewed the progress of the construction work. During the inspection, the Chief Minister watched a film related to Gandhiji's life journey through a turntable theater show (rotating curtain) in the orientation hall built on the ground floor itself.
During the inspection, Secretary of Building Construction Department Kumar Ravi gave detailed information related to the construction work to the Chief Minister. He informed that the construction work is being done at a fast pace and it is being given finishing touches. He also informed that all the visitors who come to see Bapu Tower will be able to sit in the orientation hall and see the biography of Bapu, his ideals and works and the glorious history of Bihar. During the inspection, the Chief Minister took information about the auditorium, waiting room, lounge, gallery for displaying the works to establish the ideals of Bapu among the common people, research center, visitor facilities and other structures.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister instructed the Secretary of the Building Construction Department to complete the construction of Bapu Tower as soon as possible. With its completion soon, the new generation will be able to know Bapu's biography, his thoughts and his ideals. The historical events related to Bapu's life, Gandhiji's thoughts, his role in the freedom struggle, his attachment to Bihar, Bapu's ideals should be highlighted in a better way. Whatever is being displayed, write about it properly in Hindi and English so that the common people can come here and see and understand it.
Nitish said that this campus should be a green area, the campus should look better and organized. When Bapu Tower is ready, it will be a very good sight and people will be able to come here and get information about Bapu.
