Last time when NADA suspended Bajrang, the disciplinary committee revoked his suspension as no notice was issued to him, but this time NADA has issued a notice to Punia along with the suspension.

According to NADA, Bajrang refused to give a urine sample during the trial in Sonipat on March 10. Due to which this action has been taken against him. Bajrang's lawyer Vishnupat confirmed the action and said, 'Yes, we have received the notice and we will respond accordingly.' Last time we attended the hearing and will respond this time too. We will fight because our client has not done anything wrong. Bajrang Punia will have time till July 11 to respond to the notice.

Bajrang Punia was accused of violating which section?

NADA's notice states that the DCO had asked Bajrang to provide a urine sample for the dope test. Despite repeated requests, this action has been taken without submitting the sample. The dope test process was going on for two months. Bajrang is accused of violating Section 2.3 of the National Anti-Doping Act, 2021.
