Barnala News: In Barnala, late Saturday evening, an Akali leader shot dead a mother and daughter. Not only this, he also shot dead a pet dog. After this, he committed suicide by shooting himself. According to the preliminary investigation of the police, Kulveer Mann lived in Kothi No. 353 in Ram Raj Colony. His daughter Nimrat Kaur had come to India from Canada some time ago. In the evening, people living nearby heard the sound of gunshots one after another. When people reached the spot, the bodies of Kulveer Mann, Balwant Kaur and Nimrat Kaur were lying there soaked in blood. The revolver was also lying there. They immediately informed the police about the incident.
SSP Sandeep Malik said that the incident is being investigated thoroughly. The revolver used in the murder has been recovered. It is being investigated whether the weapon was licensed or not. It is not yet known what is the reason behind doing all this, the incident will be revealed soon.
