Koderma, 22 June (HS). Two youths died in a shootout at a hotel in Baghitand, the district headquarters, at around 8 pm on Saturday night.
According to the information, the above incident took place in Shanti Motel situated on the Ranchi Patna Road in Baghitand. After a fight and dispute during the day, the criminals opened fire at around 8 pm in which Amzar alias Rajan (32) and Naseem (40), residents of Jalwabad, died on the spot. After the incident, one of them was taken to Sadar Hospital where doctors declared him dead. After the incident, all the criminals fled towards Bihar.
It is said that there was a dispute after dinner in the evening. The criminals left from there and went to Tilaiya and then came back and committed the crime. The criminals who reached the hotel shot 5-6 bullets and killed two youths. Both the youths are said to be hotel employees. Here, after the incident, the local people blocked the Patna Ranchi road.
