The accused who cheated lakhs of rupees in the name of getting a job was arrested from Punjab

Haridwar, June 22 (HS). Police has arrested an accused who was absconding in the case of cheating people of lakhs of rupees in the name of providing jobs, from Amritsar, Punjab. Police had earlier arrested an accused in this case and sent him to jail.

According to the information, Satyapal, a resident of village Nanheda Anantpur of Bhagwanpur Kotwali area of ​​the district, on August 2, 2023, had accused Yashpal Arya, resident of Golapar Jalabagh, Haldani district Nainital and Vishal alias Siddu son Mahendra resident of 18 Sadar Bazar Cantt Amritsar Punjab of taking Rs 14 lakh 3 thousand in the name of getting his daughter and son Shivam a job in Food Corporation of India. Not only this, the victim had said in the complaint that he was threatened with death on asking for the money back by giving a forged joining letter for getting the job. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case against the accused and started searching for the accused.

Taking action, the police had earlier arrested the accused Yashpal Arya and sent him to jail. While the second accused Vishal alias Sidhu was continuously absconding. The police arrested the second accused Vishal from Amritsar, Punjab.
