Patna, June 22 (HS). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday inaugurated the two-day Mango Festival 2024 by lighting a lamp at Gyan Bhawan located at Samrat Ashok Convention Center. During the program, the Chief Minister observed the exhibition of various varieties of mangoes set up by mango producers and inquired about their features.
During the program, the Chief Minister also presented a symbolic cheque of grant amount to various agricultural producer groups and food processing units. Agriculture Department Secretary Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him a green plant and a memento.
On this occasion, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Agriculture Minister Mangal Pandey, Transport Minister Sheela Kumari, Chief Minister's Principal Secretary Deepak Kumar and other senior officials were present.
