Gurugram, June 22 (HS). A boiler burst and a blast occurred in a fire extinguishing equipment (fire ball) manufacturing factory located in Daulatabad industrial area on Friday-Saturday night. The bodies of many employees working there were mutilated in this blast. 3 people died and many were injured in this accident. Relief and rescue teams reached the spot as soon as they received information about the incident. Rescue work continued throughout the day on Saturday.
There is a factory named Technocrat Productive Solution in Plot No. 200 in Daulatabad Industrial Area. This factory has been here for the last one year. It is being told that initially no work was seen in it, but work was going on here for the last one month. For the last four days, a large consignment of fire equipment was being brought here. A sudden blast occurred at around 2:30 am on Friday night in the nearly 40-year-old Daulatabad Industrial Area. The blast was so severe that it seemed as if RDX had exploded. Pieces of material flew in the air for about a kilometer and fell. Along with the blast, the factory caught fire. The fire also became fierce within no time. According to fire officer Ramesh Saini, constable Sanjay Kumar informed him about the fire at 2:45 am. With immediate effect, teams from Sector-29 Fire Department and Bhim Nagar reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. The factory in which this blast occurred manufactures fire extinguishing equipment.
The district administration and the police administration also reached the spot. SDRF teams reached the spot for rescue at night. Five people were taken out from the spot in a seriously injured condition and rushed to the hospital. Due to the possibility of people's bodies being buried under the debris, SDRF, NDRF and fire department teams were engaged in removing the debris. Three bodies were taken out from there. A case has been registered against the factory owner in Rajendra Park police station.
According to the police, three people have died tragically in this incident and 12 people have been injured. The deceased have been identified as Kaushik resident of Laxman Vihar Gurugram working in GFO Research and Development Private Limited Company, Arun resident of village Govindpur district Raebareli (Uttar Pradesh) working in Technocrat Private Limited Company and Ram Avadh resident of Anand Parvat Karol Bagh Delhi working as a guard in these companies.
