Indian Americans have also contributed a lot to the American startup ecosystem. Out of 648 unicorn startups in the US, 72 co-founders are Indian Americans. The total value of Indian American startups is $195 billion and it provides employment to 55 thousand people.

60 percent of motels are owned by Indians

60% of the motels in the US are also owned by Indian Americans. Apart from this, Indian American businesses are employing 11 to 12 million Americans. Indian Americans pay 250 to 300 billion dollars in taxes every year in the US, which is five to six percent of the total tax.
