Mumbai: Producers have started a movement against the indiscriminate fees and other expenses charged by stars in Bollywood. Many producer association meetings have also been held on this issue. Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap, while giving an example of how stars impose indiscriminate expenses on producers, said that an artist used to bring his special chef on the set and he used to charge him a fee of Rs 2 lakh per day.
According to Anurag, he was stunned to see the quantity of food prepared by the star's special chef. The quantity of this dish was barely the size of a gram.
When Anurag asked about this, he was told that the actor is very conscious about his health and hence he is suffering from many specific diseases and that too in very small quantities. According to Anurag, in fact, the star did not have any such health problem.
Some stars even demand five separate vanity vans for gym, food preparation, food treatments, bathing and scene practice.
According to Anurag, there is no need for producers to bear such false expenses of stars. It is wrong that makeup artists are paid up to Rs 75 thousand, but technicians who are very indispensable for the film are also forced to pay.
It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, film producer Farah Khan had also expressed such rebellion that the stars whose films do not do well at the box office are also demanding five vanity vans for themselves.
