Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina came to India for the second time in a fortnight

New Delhi, June 21 (HS). Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in New Delhi on Friday on a two-day state visit to India. She has arrived here at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh warmly welcomed the Bangladesh Prime Minister at the airport. This is the second time in the last 15 days that she has visited India.

Randhir Jaiswal, official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, said in a social media platform Xpost that Bangladesh is a key partner and trusted neighbour of India. This visit will further boost this prestigious bilateral partnership.

It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister of Bangladesh had also come to New Delhi on 9th June for the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Modi.
