Baba's income also increased by 33%
Vishwa Bhushan Mishra, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, said that from January 1 to May 31, 2024, 2,86,57,473 devotees visited Kashi Vishwanath Baba. During this period in the year 2023, 1,93,32,791 devotees visited Baba. That is, compared to last year, this year 93,24,682 more devotees reached Baba's court. According to him, Baba's income has also increased by 33 percent during this period.
The temple has very good facilities
The devotees who come here say that there are many good facilities in the temple. To avoid the heat, drinking water has also been arranged for the devotees at various places. According to a devotee, there is a very good arrangement for darshan in Baba's court. You can sit here even after darshan. Water has been arranged for the devotees and carpet has been arranged to protect people from burning while walking barefoot.
PM Modi inaugurated the corridor
It is worth noting that on 13 December 2021, PM Modi inaugurated the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. Due to which now the devotees will not have to pass through small streets and narrow paths. Now devotees will be able to visit Baba Vishwanath directly from the Ganga Ghat through the corridor. The important thing is that Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
