On the last day of the week, the stock market opened with a slight increase. Nifty and Sensex opened on the green mark on Friday. At the opening of 9.30 am, the Sensex opened with a gain of 114 points at 77,593 while the Nifty opened with a gain of 49 points at 23,616 points.
Nifty's new record
The stock market has started on a positive note and as soon as the market opened, Nifty has made an all-time high. Sensex also reached close to its record high but missed making a new high. NSE Nifty touched a new record high of 23,667.10 today. If we look at the advance-decline ratio of NSE, 1435 stocks have risen and 239 stocks have declined.

Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 15 are gaining and 15 are declining. Bharti Airtel is the top gainer and is up 2.36 per cent. Infosys is up 2.10 per cent, TCS is up 1.77 per cent, HCL Tech is up 1.53 per cent, Tech Mahindra is up 1.20 per cent and Wipro is up 1.19 per cent. Losers include HUL is down 1.23 per cent and HUL is down 1.18 per cent. Tata Steel is also down 1.18 per cent and Bajaj Finance is down 1.03 per cent. Nestle is down 0.85 per cent.
