'Be ready to face Pooja Ghaznavi', Nupur Sharma gets threat

Nupur Sharma: Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nupur Sharma has received threats once again. This time Islamic State-Khorasan has threatened her by writing in its newspaper Voice of Khorasan. The letter also mentions the statements of the Modi government and many of its leaders. On page number 25 of this letter, in an article titled 'Be ready to face Mahmud Ghaznavi', Indian kings who worship many gods and goddesses were threatened.

In the last few days, the police have arrested several accused for threatening Nupur Sharma. Last month, Surat Police of Gujarat arrested Shahnaz alias Ali, who had threatened to kill Nupur Sharma, from Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. He was associated with a Pakistani organization.

Surat police have also arrested cleric Sohail Abubakar Timol for threatening to kill former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. Police said he was conspiring to buy weapons with people from Pakistan and Nepal.
