Why is this test taken?
UGC-NET exam has been cancelled due to suspicion of paper leak. It is worth noting that this exam is conducted for the post of Assistant Professor in college. Along with NET exam for JRF, admission is also taken in PhD. The exam was conducted on 18 June across the country. More than 11 lakh candidates appeared in the exam. Now UGC-NET exam will be conducted again.
Strict action will be taken against misconduct
The ministry said, “The CBI is being entrusted with the responsibility of investigating the irregularities in the UGC NET examination. The government is committed to maintaining the sanctity of examinations and protecting the interests of students. Strict action will be taken against any person or organization found guilty.” Those found responsible for malpractice in the NET examination.

The government is committed to ensuring the purity of the examinations and protecting the interests of the students. Let us tell you that the UGC NET exam was conducted in June 2024 at 1205 examination centers in 317 cities of the country, in which 11,21,225 candidates participated.
