Jagannathpur Rath Mela on 7th July, Deputy Commissioner held a meeting

Ranchi, June 18 (HS). A meeting was held in the Collectorate on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha regarding the organization of the Jagannathpur Rath Mela. This year, the historic Jagannathpur Rath Mela is to be organized from 7 to 17 July. The Deputy Commissioner issued several instructions on the proposal for better organization of the fair with the representatives of the Jagannathpur Temple Trust Committee Ranchi. The Deputy Commissioner gave instructions regarding issuing the information of tender related to the fair. Instructions were given to install CCTV under security arrangements during the fair, arrangements for lights around the temple, deployment of two police forces each in the chariot and the temple. The DC said that the district administration has always stood with the Jagannathpur Temple Trust Committee Ranchi regarding the organization of the Jagannathpur Rath Mela. All arrangements will be made to ensure that the fair is organized in a grand manner.

In-charge President of Jagannathpur Temple Trust Committee Ranchi Ranendra Kumar, Secretary Mithlesh Kumar, Vice President Ashok Narsaria, Treasurer Vinod Kumar, First Servant Thakur Sudhanshu Nath Shahdev, Member Suhas Tetre, DSP Hatia Pramod Kumar Mishra, Residential Magistrate Hatia Smriti Kumari and related officials were present in the meeting.
