Araria, June 18 (HS). Forbesganj MLA Vidyasagar Keshari alias Manchan Keshari laid the foundation stone of the bridge to be built over the Dhar in Dhanaha village of Adraha Panchayat of Forbesganj at a cost of 9 crore 66 lakh 82 thousand rupees on Tuesday. Under the Nabard scheme, the construction of the 101.25 meter long bridge of the Rural Works Department Work Division will be done by a construction company called SB Engicon Private Limited. The plan is to build a bridge on the Chainage 2500 km from Belai to Santhali Tola Belai Chowk.
On the occasion, Forbesganj MLA Vidyasagar Keshari alias Manchan Keshari said that this was one of the most ancient demands of the people of Adraha and the surrounding panchayats. Due to the lack of bridges, the lives of the people here came to a standstill for six months of the year. In light of the continuous demand made by the local people, he made positive efforts towards the construction of the bridge. The construction work of which will start soon and the bridge construction work will be completed by 2026.
The MLA said that the foundation stone of 11 such bridges is scheduled to be laid in the assembly constituency. He said that due to the model code of conduct in place during the Lok Sabha elections, the development work was affected and after the elections are over, the development work will gain more momentum.
On this occasion Manoj Jha, Manoj Pandey, Amit Nirala, Mandal President Bipin Mehta, Arvind Sah, Jitendra Kumar, Rajendra Jha, Shakti Kendra Chief Awadhesh Vishwas, Gopal Mandal, Manoj Mehta, Suchen Yadav, Booth President Sanjeet Sardar, Maheshwari Yadav, Expander Jaiprakash Yadav along with the employees of the construction company and villagers were present.
