After remaining closed for three consecutive days, the Indian stock market opened with a bullish trend on Tuesday (18 June). Sensex-Nifty opened at an all-time high today. The BSE Sensex opened at 77,235.31, up 242.54 points or 0.32 percent, and the NSE Nifty opened at 23,570.80, up 105.20 points or 0.45 percent.
Midcap index at all-time high
The midcap index in the Indian stock market also reached a record high today and crossed 55,400 for the first time and the rise in midcap stocks continues.
Bank Nifty jumps
Bank Nifty witnessed a great rally and today it opened at 50,194.35 after touching the highest level of 50,204.75. Out of 12 stocks of Bank Nifty, 10 are seeing a rise and only 2 stocks are trading with a decline.
BSE market capitalisation rises
The market capitalization of BSE has continuously reached new record levels and has reached the level of Rs. 437.22 lakh crore. This is their record high. In US dollars, it has come to $ 5.23 trillion. Currently, 3419 stocks are being traded on BSE, out of which 2106 stocks are seeing a rise. 1168 stocks are seeing a decline while 145 stocks are trading unchanged.
