NEET-UG 2024: In the case of NEET UG Exam Result 2024, the Supreme Court slammed the Center and NTA and said that if there is even 0.001% negligence on anyone's part, they should be dealt with strictly. Students have prepared for the exam and we cannot forget their hard work.
The Supreme Court told the Center and NTA, “Do not take the petitions filed against NEET-UG as a protest against them. If there is any mistake in conducting the exam, then accept it and rectify it.” It is worth noting that the next hearing in this case will be on July 8.
EOU's investigation team will go to Delhi today
A team of the Economic Offenses Wing (EOU) of Bihar Police, which is investigating the NEET paper leak case in Patna, will go to Delhi today. According to sources, the EOU team has sought the original question papers of NEET from NTA.
After this, the team will match the burnt papers found in Patna with the original question papers. The team asked NTA to provide the original question papers on 21 May, but even after 28 days, NTA has not received them. After this attitude of NTA, the EOU team itself will come into action and go to Delhi and investigate.

13 people including four candidates and their family members have been arrested. According to the information received by the DIG, all the accused are residents of Bihar.
The investigation revealed a 'safe house' in Patna where 30 to 35 candidates were given the NEET question paper a day before the exam to memorise the answers.
During the inspection of the safe house, the EOI officials found a partially burnt question paper there. Therefore, the question paper has been sought from NTA to match it with the original question paper. But it has not been found yet. The DIG said, 'After receiving the NEET question paper from NTA, we will send the burnt question paper to the appropriate forensic lab for testing.'
The investigation team seized six post dated cheques
EOU DIG Manavjit Singh Dhillon said, “During the investigation, EOU officials have seized six post-dated cheques issued by the accused who allegedly distributed question papers to the candidates before the examination. The details of the account holders through these cheques are being obtained from the concerned banks.”
