Shivraj Singh resigned from the post of MLA, said- I am very emotional today

Bhopal, June 17 (HS). After being elected MP from Vidisha Lok Sabha seat of Madhya Pradesh and being made a cabinet minister at the Centre, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has resigned from the post of MLA. He himself has given this information through social media. He was elected MLA from Budhni assembly seat in the assembly elections held in MP last year.

Shivraj Singh Chauhan shared a video on Instagram late Monday evening and said that today I am very emotional. I have resigned from the membership of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. I was an MLA from Budhni. The people of Budhni assembly constituency are in my every pore. They reside in my every breath. I started my public life from Budhni itself. I have been involved in movements since childhood and then I have been continuously receiving the love of the people.

He further said that I have been an MLA from this Budhni assembly constituency six times. I had won the last assembly election from here with record votes. In the Lok Sabha elections too, the people here gave me a record victory. I have served the people with all my heart. Serving the people is like worshipping God for me. I have dedicated my entire life to this love of the people. I will continue to serve the people.
