Kathua, June 17 (HS). Gurdwara Singh Sabha organized a Gurmat Samagam for the inauguration of the newly built Gurdwara Sahib in Panchayat Haria Chak of Tehsil Marhain of District Kathua.
In the morning, Akhand Paath of the holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib was completed and then Kirtan Darbar was organized for the recitation of Gurbani. Preacher Jameet Singh gave a lecture on the ideology of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and suggested that all the local Sangat should be present in the Gurdwara Sahib in the morning and evening. At the same time, a large number of Sangat gathered to pay obeisance at the newly built Gurdwara Sahib. General Secretary of the District Gurdwara Management Parveen Singh congratulated the Sangat and appealed to everyone to learn and read Gurbani personally in their daily routine.
He said that Guru Arjun Dev composed the holy Guru Granth Sahib for us to live a good life by following the guidance of Guru Granth Sahib. He assured that DGPC Kathua will cooperate with you for the smooth functioning of Gurdwara Sahib and will also provide you all the basic facilities to learn Gurbani. Chairman Charanjit Singh appreciated the efforts of local Sangat and District Gurdwara Managing Committee member Kuldeep Singh of the concerned constituency for this newly constructed building of Gurdwara Sahib. He thanked all the Sangat present in the gathering and promised to cooperate in future also. In the program, Manmohan Singh, Tara Singh, Balraj Singh, Sham Singh felicitated all the present members of DGPC Kathua and thanked them for good cooperation. At the end, Guru ka Langar was served to all the devotees.
