Bandipora Encounter: To curb terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level meeting in Delhi. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, RO Chief and Army Chief Manoj Pandey were present in it. After this meeting, the army has come into active mode in Kashmir. The army has killed a terrorist in Bandipora. According to information received from sources, at least one terrorist is still hiding in the area. The army operation is ongoing.
Amit Shah had held a high level meeting a day before
The army took this action in Bandipora, Kashmir, a day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level meeting on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Shah ordered top officials to crack down on terrorism in the Jammu region.
Official sources informed today that a team of army and police conducted a search operation in Aragam area of Bandipora last night. During this, they clashed with terrorists. The operation to eliminate terrorists from this area is still going on. Additional security forces have been deployed in the area to ensure tight cordon in the forest area.
NIA to probe Reasi terror attack
On the other hand, the Home Ministry has handed over the case of the Reasi terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir to the National Investigation Agency. On June 9, there was a terror attack on a bus full of pilgrims. In which the terrorists first opened fire and then the uncontrolled bus fell into the valley. 9 people died and 33 people were injured.
