A gangster who had returned from jail two weeks ago was shot dead in Fatehabad

Fatehabad, June 16 (HS). On Saturday evening, bike riding youths opened fire on notorious Balraj alias Goli who was travelling in a car on Maturam Colony Road in the city. In this attack, Balraj was shot in the stomach and he died on Sunday morning during treatment in a private hospital in Hisar.

At the time of the incident, Balraj's wife was also in the car with him but she survived. According to doctors, the bullet had passed through the young man's chest and got stuck in his intestine. It is said that more than 27 criminal cases were registered against the deceased Balraj, out of which he had been acquitted in some.

He had come out of jail on bail about two weeks ago. The police has intensified the investigation in this case and has identified the shooters. The police has registered a case against Sanjay, a resident of village Bansudhar in Sirsa district and Vikas, a resident of Khema Khati Chowk Fatehabad. The clear reason for this murder incident is not yet known. At present, it is being linked to the ongoing rivalry between two groups.

In a complaint to the police, Pooja, wife of Kathmandi resident Balraj alias Goli, said that on Saturday evening, she and her husband Balraj alias Goli were returning home after seeing their plot in Swami Nagar. Near a school near Satish Colony, bike riders who came from behind fired at the glass from the conductor side of their car.

After this, when her husband stopped the car further ahead, two-three youths chased him and started firing at him.

Pooja said that one of the bullets hit her husband in the stomach. After that the attackers fired at her too, but she survived and she saved her life by taking her husband inside a shop and closing the shutter.

Pooja identified the youths as Sanjay and Vikas. After this the attackers fled from the spot. With the help of others, Pooja admitted Balraj alias Goli in a hospital in critical condition from where he was referred to Hisar.

He died on Sunday morning during treatment in Hisar. Balraj alias Goli lived in Kathmandi behind Shivpuri in Fatehabad. More than 27 criminal cases were registered against him, including cases of attempted murder. Most of the cases are said to be related to drug smuggling. He was acquitted in most of the cases.

It is being told that he was in jail for a long time in an NDPS case. He came out of jail about two weeks ago. Since the youth has a criminal record, it is believed that he was murdered due to enmity. The police is investigating this case.
