Ranchi, June 16 (HS). Police raided Hotel Maurya and Spa Center located in Argora police station area on Sunday. During this, police arrested two girls and a boy. One of the arrested girls is from Hajipur in Bihar while the other is from Bengal. All were caught in objectionable condition. However, some people managed to escape.
This raid was conducted under the leadership of Hatia DSP PK Mishra on the instructions of SSP Chandan Sinha. SSP Chandan Sinha had received information about a sex racket being operated near Argora Chowk, after which the police team raided Hotel Maurya near Argora Chowk and arrested three people including two girls. In the same sequence, the police also raided a spa center located near Maurya Hotel but nothing objectionable was found there.
It is noteworthy that Ranchi Police has busted sex rackets in different areas of the capital during the last one month.
