4 naxalites including a woman naxalite with a reward of Rs 5 lakh arrested with explosives

Bijapur, June 15 (HS). Under the Naxal eradication campaign being run in the district, 4 Naxalites including a woman Naxalite carrying a reward of Rs. 5 lakhs have been arrested along with explosives in separate operations conducted by DRG Bijapur and Thana Bhairamgarh.

Tiffin bombs, gelatin sticks, Maoist pamphlets and electric fuse wire were recovered from the possession of arrested naxalites Bomda Kawasi, father Badru, age 32 years, resident of Nayapara Keshkutul and Sukko Kunjam, father Mangu, age 30 years, resident of Surakhara Keshkutul.

At the same time, in the forests of Biriyabhumi, a female Naxalite, Mirtur LOS Commander Kumari Gallo Vekko, father Nadgu, age 26 years, resident of Adwada police station Jangla, carrying a reward of Rs five lakh, was arrested with illegal explosives. She has been active since 2016. The arrested female Naxalite, Sameela Uika, father late Fagu Uika, age 25 years, resident of Kamkanar police station Gangaluur, designation Mirtur LOS party member, has been active in the Naxalite organization since 2013. After legal action against the arrested Naxalites in Bhairamgarh and Mirtur police station, they were produced before the court today, Saturday.
