Mumbai: The long-running discussion about Sunny Deol's 'Border 2' has been officially confirmed today. The film's team including Sunny Deol officially announced the second part today. The film 'Border' was released on 13 June in 1997 and exactly 27 years later, its second part has been announced on the same date.

Anurag Singh, director of many films including 'Kesari', has been given the responsibility of directing this part two. The director of the original film, J.P. Dutta, is playing the role of producer only this time. The shooting of this film is likely to start from October this year.

The actors associated with the film 'Border' including Sunil Shetty welcomed the announcement of the second part.
